I’m your classic cereal box reader—I will and do read anything and everything, because there is nothing that transforms the world for me like words. Whether those words convey factual information or create a whole new universe, the power of words is forever awe-inspiring to me.

I always say that writers bring the magic. My job is to help that magic come through in its purest form. I’ve been lucky enough to do just that for the last eighteen years, first as a literary agent at Richard Henshaw Group and lately as a freelance editor. I’ve worked with fiction and non-fiction authors published by Hachette, Berkeley, Penguin, MacMillan, St. Martin’s Press, and Kensington.  Many of the books I’ve edited have gone on to become New York Times and USA Today bestsellers.

I’m excited to see what new stories, from real life or imagination, the future will bring me!
